3 Rising Professional Squash Association Tour Players:
Amanda Sobhy, Leo Au, and Yathreb Adel

Amanda Sobhy

Currently ranked US #1 and PSA #18, and playing with Ashaway UltraNick 18, American Amanda Sobhy is one of the most charismatic players on the PSA World Tour and looks set to battle at the top of the World Rankings for years to come.
Ashaway and its affiliates have recently signed string sponsorship agreements with three rising PSA players: Amanda Sobhy, Leo Au, and Yathreb Adel. The addition of these three players to its sponsorship roster continues Ashaway's longstanding commitment to professional squash and to squash players worldwide.

Currently ranked US #1 and PSA #18, and playing with Ashaway UltraNick® 18, American Amanda Sobhy is one of the most charismatic players on the PSA World Tour and looks set to battle at the top of the World Rankings for years to come. She secured her first Tour title in January 2010 at the Liberty Bell Open and, after following that up with the Delaware State Open and the Racquet Club International, she became the first player to claim three Tour titles as a 16-year-old. The 2015/16 season saw Sobhy cement her status as a top 10 contender as she reached her first World Series final in January 2016's Tournament of Champions. Sobhy went on to the semi-finals of the U.S. Open in 2016 and reached the semi-finals of the Ciudad De Floridablanca. However, injury forced her to have surgery on a ruptured left Achilles tendon and she was sidelined for most of the year.

Leo Au is one of Hong Kong's most successful players with a wealth of PSA World Tour titles to his name. Currently ranked #21 in the world by PSA, Au recently switched to Ashaway's new polyurethane-based MultiNick® 18. Au won his first title at the Buler Challenge Cup in 2010 and followed that with back-to-back triumphs in 2011 at the Victoria Open and Tasmanian Open. Recently Au made the semi-finals in the 2017 HKFC International and in the Serena Hotels CAS International Squash Championship. He made the finals in the President Gold Cup International Squash Tournament a couple of months later, and also made the semi-finals in the Holtrand Open in 2017.

Signed by Ashaway distributor Pacific Sports, Yathreb Adel of Egypt is one of the most exciting youngsters on the PSA World Tour. Currently ranked PSA #25, Adel already has a number of Tour titles to her name and uses Ashaway's PowerNick® 18 string. Adel turned pro in 2010 and has a career high ranking of #24, including 8 PSA titles. In 2016 she was sidelined for a year due to injury but returned to the tour in 2017 and climbed from PSA #229 to #25!

Ashaway congratulates all these fine players!
