Ashaway Official String of USA Racquetball and International Racquetball Tour

Ashaway, RI -- Ashaway Racket Strings has been named the Official String of both USA Racquetball and the International Racquetball Tour (IRT). Each agreement runs for three years, and represents Ashaway's commitment to supporting the sport in the United States and abroad.

Ashaway sponsors World Racquetball Champion Jack Huczek and U.S. Racquetball team member Laura Fenton, and is the favorite string of many others who participate in events run by both groups.

USA Racquetball (USAR) is the National Governing Body for the sport of racquetball, recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee. The organization provides opportunities for members and enthusiasts to actively participate in racquetball through sanctioning of events, administration of programs, and development of competitive teams. They will be promoting the Ashaway brand at all USAR sanctioned events.

Entering its 15th year, the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) is the recognized professional tour in the sport of racquetball. Showcased at one of the most prestigious events in racquetball, the US Open, the tour includes more than 300 professional racquetball players and over 30 sanctioned events in North America.
