Flyline Core
Ashaway is a manufacturer of braided Flyline core for the sport fishing industry. We specialize in both multifilament and monofilament nylon braids with proprietary processing techniques to minimize fibers that would otherwise disrupt the coating process. We offer all of the most common core sizes ranging from .012 Flyline core to .040 Flyline core. We also undertake development projects for specialty lines.Size |

Flyline Backing
Ashaway manufactures Flyline backing right here in our Rhode Island facility. We can make backing in different materials including polyester and UHMWPE. Our backing offerings include various colors as well as many different spool sizes and product lengths, sold either on bulk spools for cost efficiency, or retail ready spools for convenience.
